The M.Sc. programs are designed to enable graduates, or those wishing to develop their career path, with the opportunity to enhance their hospitality knowledge, business knowledge and capabilities with a higher qualification which can accelerate career progression.

Through their choice of pathway, students will be exposed to a variety of industry case studies and business concepts to develop the knowledge and competencies needed for a successful career in the hospitality and service sector.

The M.Sc. Degrees develop students’ theoretical and operational knowledge of current themes and developments in the global hospitality sector and the international business world. This will allow graduates to either initiate or enhance a career in the international hospitality industry.

Through a variety of taught modules and internship placement, students are educated to:

use initiative and take responsibility
solve problems in creative and innovative ways
make decisions in challenging situations
continue to learn independently and to develop professionally
communicate effectively, with colleagues and a wider audience, in a variety of media

The MBA programs develop students’ theoretical and operational knowledge of current themes and developments in the international business world through 4 core modules. This forms a foundation for the 4 specialisation modules in entrepreneurial practices and innovation tools which have been developed and applied across a range of business sectors, or in global banking, finance and investment for the 21st century economy, or in contemporary digital applications for marketing and business logistics. This will allow graduates to either initiate or enhance a global and successful career.

Building on students’ prior Master studies, the B.H.M.S. Degrees will educate them to:

think critically and creatively
effectively utilise technology to analyze and interpret data

All the M.Sc. and MBA programs comprise one intensive study block of 6 months, full-time study, followed by a paid internship period of 6 months in Switzerland or overseas, for students wishing to gain further work experience before proceeding on their career track. Students who are interested in joining any of our Master degrees will have the opportunity to apply for the programs 4 times per year.
