Spa, Beauty & Wellness Management Seminar for the MSc students
The M.S.c Degree in International Hospitality Business Management includes a Specialist Seminar as part of its first academic semester. The students can vote and choose one of the following topics:
- Sport & Event Marketing
- Spa, Beauty & Wellness Management
- Branding, Luxury Products & Services Management
This time, the topic chosen was Spa, Beauty & Wellness Management, which was conducted by Ms. Larisa Marinica, who has 13 years of expertise as Spa & Wellness Director.
During this 2-day seminar, the B.H.M.S. students had the opportunity of visiting the Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa located in Interlaken, Switzerland. The 5,500 square-meter Spa Nescens at Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel is considered one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.
As part of this field trip, the students had the chance to learn more about the daily operations and management aspects of the Hotel & Spa .They were able to develop a better understanding of the services and activities provided for the guests, and discover more about the facilities.
Using the experiential approach as a teaching method, the students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the Spa operations in the Hospitality Industry.
The MSc in International Hospitality Business Management develops students' theoretical and operational knowledge of current themes and developments in the global hospitality sector. This will allow graduates to either initiate or enhance a career in the international hospitality industry.
